There is a good article on sciatica here:
http://www.firstchiro.com/sciatica.htm
and several good books on Amazon. When I had a partially frozen shoulder I found that acupuncture was the only thing that really helped with the pain. A good chiropracter (and not all are good of course) might help too. I didn't find physio helped me a lot, but people (and physios) differ of course.

In response to:Benefits

Thankyou very much for your comment...it means a lot. The physio is helping slightly...i have a condition called sciatica (think thats how u spell it...lol) so although the physio helps it wont cure. i just hope i find an understanding employer. And yes, i will miss my daughter very much when i go to work.

In response to:Benefits

Every sympathy. I have been on benefits for nearly 4 years now after ill health. I am a lot older than you but still get the same reactions - especially from those bast**ds in their nice offices that are supposed to help us. There are some good agencies out there though that do help. Is the physio helping? At least you get good time with your daughter - you'll miss that when you get back to work. Good luck.
